What sets GluteGuard® apart?

GluteGuard®'s unique enzyme, caricain, has been clinically proven to protect against symptoms triggered by unintentional gluten consumption.

Unpacking The Gluten Problem

When gluten is consumed, the body's digestive enzymes (such as pepsin, trypsin, chymotrypsin, and others) in the gastrointestinal tract are unable to fully break down gluten proteins. This leaves behind smaller, undigested pieces known as "peptides."

While most people are unaffected by these peptides, in those with recognised gluten related disorders, the undigested peptides interact with the intestinal lining setting off a chain of events, resulting in symptoms and the associated autoimmune response that leads to intestinal damage.

A Groundbreaking Naturally Sourced Enzyme

GluteGuard® contains Caricain which is a unique enzyme derived naturally from the skin of the unripe papaya fruit (Carica papaya).

When you take GluteGuard® before a meal, its enteric coating ensures targeted delivery to the small intestine, where its enzymes are released. These enzymes then zero in on gluten peptides, breaking them down into harmless fragments. These fragments pass through the digestive system, without triggering symptoms.

When Should You Use GluteGuard®

Restaurants & Cafes

Many commercial kitchens simply can’t be kept 100% gluten-free, increasing the risk of gluten contamination. Better to have GluteGuard® handy in those situations.

Travelling

When was the last time you travelled worry-free?
GluteGuard® could be used while travelling, as there's a high likelihood of consuming food prepared by others, especially in situations where cultural or language barriers make it difficult to communicate the need for gluten-free options.

Social Occasions

Another Thanksgiving having to bring your own food to avoid cross contamination? Not anymore. GluteGuard® could be used at social events like weddings, parties, and conferences where catering is involved. There's often a high risk of cross-contamination when gluten-free food is prepared alongside gluten-containing food.

Uncertain Ingredient Labelling

Determining whether an ingredient is gluten-free can be challenging, especially when product labels are unclear. GluteGuard® can be used when customers are unsure if a particular ingredient is gluten-free.
